ABOUT US
Founding Story
Luminary Integrative Health was founded by a group of passionate young women who began by asking ourselves the question: if not us, then who?

As an organization we are motivated and inspired by our united experiences as women.

Not only have our board members lived through many of the injustices which we advocate against, each of us has chosen to deepen our understanding of trauma and how it affects the human body through different educational avenues in hopes of making an impact within our communities.
Collectively our board members hold educational backgrounds in a wide range of integrative practices. Specifically Ayurvedic Medicine, Western Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine, as well as conventional Western Medicine.

Our objective is to facilitate a deeper understanding of the human body through an intuitive approach. By establishing a strong foundation, we empower individuals to embark on their own journey towards healing, particularly focusing on supporting women to embrace their autonomy. We recognize the significance of continuously expanding our knowledge base and acknowledge that our greatest sources of wisdom are the voices of those we serve.
OUR VISION
Luminary Integrative Health is a nonprofit organization committed to providing holistic healthcare and educational resources to female individuals affected by gender-based violence.
Our unique approach to healing blends a traditional understanding of the human body with a Western medical perspective to support rehabilitation in a gentle and intuitive way.
Our mission is to shine light in the world's darkest spaces.
Our values
Advocacy
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to be a voice for those who cannot advocate for themselves by addressing the social stigmas around trauma and encouraging individuals to seek the support they need.
Patience
We believe one of the most important aspects of personal growth is understanding that healing is not linear, but a process which takes time. Patience is our power here, as it plays a key role in successfully integrating traumatic experiences into our lives.
Support
Luminary Integrative Health is dedicated to addressing the physical, psychological & emotional effects of gender-based violence. We recognize that what feels supportive may look different for everyone and believe in honoring the unique healing process of each individual.
Integrity
Luminary Integrative Health aims to uphold the highest standards of integrity in all of our actions. We intend to honor each individual by providing heart centered support in the form of respect for each unique journey, compassion towards ones life experiences, and acceptance of ones reality.
Resilience
As an organization, we acknowledge the resilience of nature and in turn the resilience of the human body & spirit. We believe the power of resiliency lies in making choices that positively impact our health and wellbeing.

We wholeheartedly trust in the capacity of every individual to overcome their past and embark on a journey of healing and growth.
Education
Our goal is to provide accessible educational opportunities to those in need, focused on understanding the female anatomical body. We believe having access to the right resources & support can help an individual feel empowered in their own abilities, and gain the confidence to fulfill their potential.
